Maybe the Moon, Armistead Maupin's first novel departing from his bestselling Tales of the City series, is the audaciously original chronicle of Cadence Roth -- Hollywood actress, singer, iconoclast and former Guiness Book record holder as the world's shortest woman.
He later worked the series into books published by HarperCollins, and eventually turned out nine books between 1978 and 2014. It'll also get a release on Netflix in 2019. Aside from Tales of the City, Maupin also wrote Maybe The Moon in 1992 and the Night Listener in 2000. Armistead Maupin tours the UK for the first time this autumn.
